A drop falls. Time breathes. Movement flows.
DRYPP (drip) is a response to the global initiatives sweeping the planet toward separatism and isolation as a human species. With movement and media, DRYPP attempts to draw parallels between this small, yet dynamic and intricate experience of human time with the grand scope of geological time, utilizing footage shot in remote areas above the arctic circle and in deep underground caverns. Set to a violin concert by composer Magnar Åm and a supporting soundscape, the piece is a reminder that this moment in time is just a "drip" in the vast narrative of human existence.

Einy Åm Sparks (USA/Norway) is a contemporary dance artist and video editor who creates works in the realm of dance, film and music as the artistic director of EyeKnee Coordination ( Since its inception in 2011, EyeKnee Coordination has presented works at numerous venues in the New York area, as well as toured internationally to Norway and Japan.  Interdisciplinary collaborations play a large role in the company explorations.

DRYPP is made possible through generous support from Arts Council Norway and Dansearena nord and presented locally by Dance Theater Coalition with support from ZAP and Utah Division of Arts & Museums.
